Where do I find a money tree? I think the owners of Broken Arrow Wilderness have found a source, but I don't have the time to plant one and wait for it to grow that big.
That is actually a thing. You can buy the computers that mine bitcoins, I saw a server rack already put together that you could buy, and plug in, and let it run. I don't know if it would turn enough profit to pay for its electricity though.
Thats a thing of the past many people are getting out of the mining business. We got a money tree 20 years ago from Sunflower when we go married-- it was nice :-) I have a couple ideas for residual income that I am thinking of investing in. There is a campground up north of Newton that the couple that owns it is getting older. He also has a camper/covered storage area. He is looking for someone to help with things around the campsite-- Then maybe sell out (at a cheap price to the helper) at a later date-- I am doing my due diligence on the guy now. So we will see-- I have a 15 year old that has been looking for a job so mowing that place would be good work for her. But we will see-- Also looking (just looking for now) for more rental properties. but we will see

Ok I get the first part: once the computer mines the unique number, the miner sells the number to someone for bitcoin. Great!
Part 2 is still fuzzy to me: who buys that number and how is the mined number useful to the seller? Is someone just giving away bitcoin for no reason? Or is the reason to waste electricity…
