Don't know if this will help, but here is the set up on my 96. Note the Factory Torque Lift Tie downs are notched for the parking brake cable.

Thanks for the help and pictures guys! I figure the 1991 and 2015 will be very different and thats ok. Ill have tie downs on each truck so the camper can slide in either at a moments notice. I use the 2015 for work so it can't stay in it all the time but the 91 is the weekend-mobile and might just have the camper in it for local trips.

Recently picked up this 815 and took it on my first trip. Have a different set of tie downs on order but these ones seem to be working out for now.

Picked up from the In laws, its a 1999 but in good shape and no water damage. I need to use 6x6s to clear the cab and backrack/lights for right now. Down the road I may remove the rack when the camper is installed.

What bike rack is that and can you access the camper door with the bikes on? I am looking for a rack for mine.

We use a swing out on our Northstar. Not hard to swing it open with the bikes on it and never has to come off the truck. We leave the steps on, so swing it open and extend the steps.

I got a 7” extension and used my Swagman. It moves a bit. I’m going to get some wedges to tighten things up in there for rougher roads. My son in law made me an aluminum plate that mounts onto the rack, so we can get in and out. I’ll take some pics and post them.

The maiden Voyage of the Lance 1062 and the new boat motor took place this past week. All went well...almost. The almost was no fault of the Lance or the boat. A contractor digging a trench for an electrical cable 'up the hill' from our camp and in an entirely different area broke a water main that fed the entire Detroit Lake State Recreation Area. So, the first night is the only night we had piped in water. The park rangers came around and told us what was going on and six small bottles of water (for 4 nights) Water was out all week. Not sure when they will get it fixed. When they told us what had happened I moved our supply hose over to the water tank fill port. Water that was up hill from us in the main was sufficient for us to get a "gravity feed" fill on our water tanks plus a 5 gallon bucket full for dog water. So we were good with 51 gallons on board the camper and the bucket full. We also had left home with 10 gallons in the tank on the boat. There were 4 of us in our area and we all got filled up. Must have been a big pipe in the ground to hold that much water.

They have a large Kokanee Fishing Derby this weekend with a full campground. With outhouses and no water, it could be interesting. The USFS campgrounds in the area (leased to private contractors) are all still closed and probably won't open Glad we were coming home and not sticking around for the derby.
