Wow! I just googled the Lance 975. That is a sweet looking rig. None of those came across our radar. The weight would have been a killer for us anyway. Not that it's a whole lot more than ours at 3600 lb dry with the options we have.
1992 F350 + 1995 Lance 3000
I finally loaded my 1995 Lance camper onto my 1992 F350! I had to look to find a level place here in hilly Nevada County CA to see if I need to add air to the bags. Not sure that I do. Would have been loaded a couple of days ago, but I had to build a spacer to lift it up to clear the lights on the cab (2x4s on edge). Since the camper floor isn't rectangular I built it to match the contour of the camper and then attached it to the camper itself.

What did you use as a spacer ? I had to do the same with mine . I have a 2006 F250 with a 1998 Elkhorn 9T . I used a 4x8 sheet of 2" Blue hard foam insulation from Lowes . it works great and is super light weight . compression rating was way more than any weight per sq inch a camper would put on it and it works superbly. plus it insulates the floor as well .
