I learned to drive in a 1977 F250 with a camper on the back. These days I tow a trailer for my family, but I love seeing all these beautiful slide-ins, both new and older.

Wife said we didn't need all of the wasted space of our 23' bumper pull, and after a visit to the Capri facility 2 hours away from us, we ordered our own slide-in. She chose the inside colors, I chose the outside. The electric jacks (remote to add to the unnecessary and selfish indulgence) are removed most of the time and there are mods in the works for the rear deck.

There is not a slide on this one. Bigfoot does not put a slide on the smaller models yet, but they are planning on it in the future. We actually chose not to get a slide based on the weight. Also the units that have a slide usually have smaller dinettes. This unit has the largest dinette out of any of Bigfoot's Truck Campers.

Now I really want one.Had enough slides in RVs
Great when you're parked for a while. Our truck campers now days are mainly for traveling, not really for camping. Ive traveled 1500 miles in the last week looking at 9 1/2 to 10 foot no slide campers. No luck yet.
Got to be used and like new, used price.

Your truck and camper are both in great shape for their age. How long have you had them?

The **** box I've been living in for the past two and a half years. 2500lbs of dead weight. Glad to say that it's gone. Took it to the dump last week; cost me all of $40 to get rid of. Oddly enough, it had no problem standing up on only three legs. Of course, one of those legs didn't actually work, and I had to use a floor jack with a bolt through the leg to keep it from collapsing. There was a little satisfaction knocking the whole thing over to get my jack out from under the leg.

Thanks! Capri is very willing to accommodate just about any reasonable request. We determined the outside colors and pattern (even the narrow chrome/black/chrome stripes at mid-height) and also the inside too. I had them add 3 high, and 3 low stainless eyebolts on each side for shade tarps and general hanging/drying duty. And, left/right/stop LEDs as back porch items are sure to obscure the truck's tail lights.

I'll add any pics you want...the purple bed sheets were what we had at the moment...

If you start looking for a used like new Bigfoot, it will probably be a long journey. We upped our budget quite a bit because this one was so nice. We got at least $10k off the new price for a 2 year old model.

The 1500 9.5fssb is the longest TC made for a short bed truck. They do make the same model for a long bed. FS means the dinette is in the front and the wet bath is in the rear. We like this floor plan the best. That made it even harder to find one. SB means short bed. These also have a larger fridge than most non slide units.

Good luck!

I really like the wood finishes they do. I've seen some with Cedar. Looks like a rolling cabin in the woods. We see quite a few of these at rodeos, perfect set up when you're on the road chasing the dream.

I think the purple sheets are sets the mood...

Nice camper!

I assume they use real wood.
But,I've seen some really good looking, tough film, especially on flooring.
No matter which,Capri does a good job, maybe the best VALUE.
