96 bronco wipers quit clicking noise from module

As title states the concern. I've tested leads on both grey and black connectors to wiper motor. I have power to black and have power for low and high when multi switch is activated. Wiper motor not working can't hear so it's not linkage. I don't remember hearing the clicking before but the cover trim on passenger side is off due to having to reset fuel switch recently and haven't put back on yet. The day before wipers quit working I noticed my wiper fluid wasn't working. Tested and found out the connectors to pump were bad. Real easy fix. But now wipers quit and hearing the wcm clicking. Didn't know if possibly the pump drawing and shorted wcm or just happened to be closely timed related. If getting signal to motor from switch I wouldn't think wcm bad but don't know and can't find diagram to test. Any help be appreciated. New wcm from local parts store 218 and can get salvaged for 30 but it's an hour away plus taking it off. Sorry just read and realized wasn't descriptive. The grey connector is leads from wiper switch. I'm getting the low and hi signal to connector. The motor is not working so that's why I know it's not the linkage. And the clicking noise from the wcm is only a single click when activating each setting. It's not constant clicking while wiper switch is set. It's a click from delay to low to high. And when setting in a position from wiper switch there is no clicking sounds. Only when selecting different speed.

It seems like a closely related problem, unrelated. You checked the wiring already, so your best move might be to try the "new" wcm. I didn't notice, but did you check the wipers motor? I thinks it's more feasible for that one to be the cause, if possible try a new one.
