That reminds me of a 1968 vehicle.

87 is the body style no listing
H is the engine no listing
314,457 the rest is consecutive build number.

That sounds like a Junk Title VIN. It means nothing. Some yards also will remove the data plate. They often leave the one stamped into the frame though. Its on the passenger side near the front of the truck. It should be on the inside of the frame.
