Fuel Sending Unit?
Was going to order new tanks for my F-250 this weekend, after looking at forums and getting quotes for getting the tanks dipped I found it would be cheaper to just order new ones. However, I came across a post on here that said that these Supercabs have a special side mounted tank. Could I just order the tanks from rock auto? these were the ones I was looking at. The truck is a 1975 F-250 Supercab, trailer special. I have no clue if I need EEC or not as well. Also, I cannot find the sending unit for the side mounted tank if i can use it. Only the sending unit for the 19 gallon rear tank.

Simple answer is no, you can not just order one from rockauto. I don't have one to compare it to, but looking at picture in parts catalog and on rockauto, they are built completely different. I would have your existing one repaired. The sending unit can also be repaired.
