Per Tom's request ^^^^ These are not the rims you are looking for ^^^^. They require spacers.

Yes Curt, the KR and Lariat wheels are identical except the KRs have the tan and the Lariats have silver like mine in the pocket holes.

There are some factory 18" wheels that will fit too. See below for that information.

If the Harley wheels fit, how about the 18" steely wheelies that they use for spares?

As long as they're from an '04 Super Duty.

Welcome to the EX forum!
In '04, the ONLY year that the SD trucks had over 16" wheels available in the same geometry as what we use on our EXs the spares were the same 16" steelies that we have from the factory. I believe that that black steel wheel you are showing is a '05+ wheel, that along with the '05+ 17" & 18" steel spares would require spacers to correctly fit our big wagons. So yes, there are some factory 18" wheels that fit correctly, that's what this thread is all about, but I don't think that one shown is one of them based on everything that I have seen and read on the subject. What was the factory application for the shown wheel?

Well, there you have it, they would bolt up, like any other late model SD wheel but they would sit 1.75" too far towards the frame on our EXs and would require spacers to be positioned correctly.

Where’d you get your spacers from?

I bought them from wheeladaptersusa.com
They’ve been on for 6 months with no issues what so ever. Aluminum just like the rims. Just remember to use some thread locker on the threads, torque to specs and check after a few hundred miles of driving that they are good to go.

On the hunt for some HD wheels lately and wondering, what is the backspacing measurement to watch for to confirm a set of 2004s? Are the HD wheels for 2005+ similar looking and easily confused when shopping around if the seller doesn’t know what they have?
