Lunch at work: what ya take?

Cold food, hot food, sandwiches, cookies? What do you take with you for lunch? I'm kinda tired of ham sandwiches or peanut butter and jam or pizza. . .

Leftovers, usually. I those aren't an option then those pasta sides packets make a good lunch with a few strips of frozen pre-grilled chicken on top.

I just have my private chef throw something together

Just kidding

When I'm out working (meetings) etc. I usually grab a quick bite out.

Usually ham and cheddar cheese on white bread w/ mustard.
Wash it down with a cold Coca-Cola.

Lately, I've been bringing leftovers.

Today, a BIG fried chicken breast and some rice. (I LOVE cold chicken!)
Heated the rice in the microwave.

(My wife has started making fried chicken like my Mom used to, and also taught me.)
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......... makes an old fat man happy!!!!

Washed it down with an ice cold Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

I normally have leftovers. I got burnt out on sandwiches for a while. Since i ate them almost every day for 12 years working construction. now that im in an office job i like having options lol.

todays menu was leftover smoked chicken breast on top of a salad, pasta salad, and garlic cheesy mashed potatoes.

Sadly I eat a cold sandwich, chips and something sweet all washed down with a diet pepsi. Not many options in a mail truck 10-12 minutes from town.

Always leftovers with fruit, yogurt, biscotti and fiber bar. My company also treats us real good. We'll get treated to nice dinners when the workload is heavy and important.

During planting/harvest season it's a completely different game, lunch is at home generally but eaten as fast as I can and the kids get slightly neglected , supper 6PM is whatever snack stuff I have in the tractor, generally trail mix or beef jerky and water then around 11/12 PM when I get home I make whatever is easiest, a Cold meat sandwich is preferable over a nuked frozen meal and regardless of which choice I have a cold beer helps settle it down at the end of the night. Then start over again the next day at 7AM....
