Well, I buttoned her up today. Ran truck for a while. Although my temp guage climbs on my dashboard, my torque app is reading -40 It stayed there from cold to warm. But I got an engine oil temp reading on my app. Is the temp guage just like the oil guage?
Is it basically an idiot light?

 

There is no water temp sensor on these things

 

The pcm doesn't know about fuel pressure, water temperature, or egt's on these old girls. The PID list is generic so even though you see a PID in the menu that doesn't mean it'll work properly or at all in your truck. There is a significant learning curve with torque pro, but it is easy to read IPR and ICP so the novice user can diagnose the easy things.

Hi guys. I didn't get to tell you thanks for all your help. My mom fell 3 times last Monday an ended up in the hospital. Now she's in rehab.
MI thanks for that link to Amazon on those parts. By the way, they have dorman bellowed up pipes for like, $129 with the collector.

Riff Raff sells alot of good stuff too cheaper than most places but the cam sensor is like 4 bucks cheaper on Amazon

I believe if I'm not mistaken the up pipes on Amazon are for super duties I don't think dorman makes them for the obs

 

Does dorman sellfor e99 sd? If so those could work on our rigs.
