problems with front rotors and brakes

We have a 2002 Escape that has only 23,000 miles and we already had to replace our front brakes and rotors, because they were shot. Has anyone else had this problem. We are thinking maybe the back brakes are not working properly.

Welcome to FTE spt!!

If it only has 23K on it, I would make the dealership deal with it. Are you having problems stopping, are the brakes grabbing or feel tight? Your ABS might be building too much pressure on the front and not releasing correctly, causing the brakes to drag and heat the rotors excessively.

I would have the dealership test them and fix them...

Thats definatly a dealer issue unless you drive with your foot on the brake. Do you have the dust sheilds installed on the front wheels? Those will warp rotors fast.
