'06 Crew 4x4 wont engage (Electrical)
Hi,
The story:
Purchased with shaky tranny, and 4x4 not engaging. Seller told me he brought it to shop to get it out of 4x4 no clue what they did to get it out. I ended up having tranny rebuilt by trusted shop I told him to do 4x4 t case motor while it was out. He told me it was getting no power... So the chase began
New Parts: RO1 & RO2 relays (getting power), Dash selector Switch, IWE Solenoid
Checked: ECM (Pulled and sent for repair, tested working), T case Motor (moves if jumped), all fuses, full vacuum test of IWE system.
Problem: When I switch to 4H or 4L no dash indication at all, not even a blip, no 4x4 shift obviously...
I am fairly certain at this point that I have a wiring issue between the aux relay box and tcase motor. Wiring is my glaring weakness unfortunately.
Any place to point me? Or can anyone tell me where the dash gets its feedback from to illuminate the 4x4 indicator lamps?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like nobody's ever connected a capable scan tool. The 4WD system is computer controlled, and there should be trouble codes set if you're not seeing the light come on. Typically it takes a scan tool capable of reading Ford-specific codes to retrieve these. That would be your first step.
