Replacing Front Tank... How to re-prime?
My front tank sprung a leak, so I've been driving on the rear tank for the last few weeks.
I've got a new front tank I'll be putting in tomorrow. It seems like it will be a straightforward swap; I plan on doing the filler neck mod while I'm at it. The only thing I'm not sure of is re-priming the lines to the front tank. I've still got the mechanical fuel pump. I plan to warm up the truck on the rear tank to get the fuel system moving nicely and then flip to the front while revving the engine. What has been your experience with this?
