does anyone have good luck the auto store brand spray paint to touch up their stock paint and if so which. I have a 79 f250 super cab that is baby blue and white and I'm trying to match

the blue since it's covered up width of the tail protector on the inside and the large stainless trim I only need maybe 5 feet of total coverage so spray can would make sense.

Most automotive paint supply places can custom match the color and put it in a spray can for you. I'm sure there would be one close to you somewhere. They are where most of your local body shops buy their supplies. Most have a good knowledge of how to properly use their products. Good luck!

 

One only in our area and I have to bring sample and wont mix on the spot.

 

Depends on what you want as far as the finished quality. The parts store stuff can look decent from 20ft or so if skillfully applied. There is definitely no substitute for proper painting. On a side note, I love the way your truck sits. What size tires are those?

 

If you know the paint codes, check these guys out. You might have to call them since their search feature only goes back to 85, but I got a 73 emerald lime green from them one time that was a pretty good match.
