Rear Drive Shaft u-joint replacement

Does anyone know what Spicer Part #s for the rear u-joints would be? I'm not nailing down the right one. I keep finding numerous ones, 1410, 1350, 5-160, I have no idea. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

Never heard of them. How long have you been running them? Any issues? I wish I could find the equivalent part # to that in a Spicer.

Haven't been running them long, probably only have 2K miles on them. I went to a knowledgeable driveline and gear shop here in Reno that deal with anything from semi's to rock crawlers. Don't remember the exact cost but was around 45 bucks each. They said that these are one of the strongest for the greasable ones but the non greasable ones last longer, stronger and more expensive. He assured that these will work just fine. The ones on there were factory originals. I went with an OEM carrier bearing.

Long story short I don't know much about them other than what the guy said. As of nowI feel real comfortable with them.

I did Spicer U-Joints in my front axle that are non greasable. Local drive line shop to me explained both are designed to last 80k however the greasable needs greased every 3k miles. Personally I would rather swap a quality piece set and forget.

Ok, well here is what I learned in the last couple days, struggling to find a fix for my driveshaft issues:

REAR: at the diif is a 1410-series u-joint
Spicer part# 5-1410x (non-greasable) OR Part# 5-160x (greasable)

at the t-case end, in the double Cardan/CV style joint is (2) 1350 series u-joints
Spicer Part# 5-1350x (non-greasable) OR Part#5-178x (greaseable)

FRONT: driveshaft, at all positions, uses the 1350 series
The "wheel joints" are also 1350 series, for the Dana 50 front axle. The D60 is listed as a different part# on the Dana website, but no other information is given.

Thanks for the info. I will now know what I need when I change out the others. Just ordered my rear diff Spicer non-greasable joints. They should be here by the weekend. I'll be installing those this weekend. Thanks brother.

O'Reillys has a double Cardan with a Lifetime warranty that a 6.0 forum member recommends.
