new owner to 1979 f150, tires and lift questions

I learned a couple days ago my father in law is about to gift me a 1979 f150 4x4 and have been reading about them since. Ive been trying to learn basic things. please correct me if I am wrong on the following-

My father in law said it didnt need bigger tires as the ones it had rubbed so I am guessing they are about 33? or 31 inch if theres no lift and the fenders arent cut out any.

When I was searching for images to see what a 79 looked like or could be made to look like I found Shaun McRoberts' here

https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/displayalbum.php?&albumid=11298

I think his tires size / height is ideal and also he says the hood scoop is functional (unless I misread it).

What would you say the lift is he has?

and I havent found a write up on lifts or lift kits for older (6th generation or similiar ) F150s. If anyone knows of one I havent found yet please le me know

You can easily put 33's in those wheel wells with no problem, But I think I'd stay with 10.5" or 11.5" width.

That's actually ladder rack off a contactor's van... slightly modified. I picked up a pair of 'em for $26... modified them and kept one. 'Sold the other one to a fellow FTE'er.
