The ONLY place I saw there was no core charge was from rockauto. They had some HPOPs that required core charges, but they had a cardone rebuilt unit that didn't require any core charge.

This seemed like the best option for me at that time as well. I didn't think my old unit could be rebuilt to have the anti drainback valve, so I didn't send it out to get rebuilt to a performance one. I was also able to sell my old one online to get some of the money back. On top of that, the cardone one has a lifetime warranty so if it ever goes bad, I should be able to get it replaced for free! I'm usually very skeptical of lifetime warrant car parts though.. but the HPOP is working great now!

 

I don't think I've ever used a lifetime warranty, but as of recently, I've also become Leery about it. I've heard these days they aren't honoring lifetimes.
