no gas 2 carburetor
I cant figure out why my 86 f350 with 460 isnt getting gas. Ive checked everything from the carb down to the fuel filter, and its clear i put 30psi through the line back to the front tank and there is no air getting to the tank ?
Any ideas or tips ?

Usually when the fuel selector valve goes bad, it wants to draw from one tank all the time. If you think there is a problem with the valve, pick a tank, front or rear, and splice the hoses together to run on that one tank all the time. You could also take the lines loose on the valve coming from the tank and run them into a bucket and see if you get fuel when you turn the key to start.

fuel lines
I just dropped the fuel tank and took out the fuel pump and its clear and after lunch im hook a air hose and push air through the main lineto the fuel filter. I have to wait to till i get paid but is their a way i can take the line off the rear tank to tie in to the front tank ? The line from the front tank to fuel selector mechanism broke. Can i pull off the rear and use it ?

You have a six port selector valve on the drivers frame rail right behind the front of the midship tank, correct?
You have a fuel pump relay and a selector relay up by the drivers hood hinge, correct?
Is the selector relay sending power to the valve (selecting the midship tank)
Or does it have no power to the valve (selecting the rear tank)?
