K&N air Intake for '94 F700 w/ Cummins 5.9

Hello,

I bought a '94 F700 dumper for use around the farm / ranch. I would like to replace the stock air intake with a K&N, but K&N does not make a CAI system for this truck. Anyway I can make one myself with one of their Universal tapered cone filters? How would I size it? Anyone else out there try this?

Freightliner mt 45 and 55 trucks use a remote dry cylindrical paper filter with ducting to the rf fender area. What is the setup on your truck? Do you have an intercooler?
