Need some help with buying new floor panels!!

I have a 50 panel that needs the floors done, mainly the area right where your feet would rest at. Are the panels for the f1 the same for the truck and the panel? I will be running a cpp master cylinder with remote fill on the firewall so I wont need the access hole for the brakes. My question is on what brand to buy, I am looking at these and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. 1948 -1952 Ford F-1 Truck Front Floor Pan They are an EMS brand. I kind of like the idea of getting the main rib across the floor because mine is kind of bugered up, and the fact that the tranny cover isn't cut out is ok because I may be making my own tranny bump and someday a console maybe. Any feedback would be much appreciated

I haven't seen that product before this. The floor replacements I used came in two pieces, dr side and pas side without the centre reinforcement. These look pretty good and not too bad a price. They will save you a lot of work over the two piece floor boards. It's been a few years since I installed my floor boards or that's what I would be looking for. I would have have rather had these. I like the uncut transmission cover too.

Thanks Mervy49. I'm ready to buy some now and this seems like the simplest way to go. I will be needing new toe boards too. They seem a little easier to make. It gives me an excuse to buy a couple of tools that I want.

Your welcome, I went through the floor boards episode, and I remember that it was quite the job trying to install both sides at the same time and also replacing the first three inches of toe board. The EMS boards will make it somewhat easier. As far as quality, it is hard to tell from the picture. Tools is good....can never have too many.

yah, I'm probably just going to order them, as long as the shipping isn't out of this world.

I replaced the floors, cab mounts, and cab corners in my 52' panel. The parts were purchased from Classic Hauler's and I was pleased with the fit and quality. My toe panels had some issues as well, but as replacement panels did not seem to be available, we just welded in some patches as needed. My floors came in two pieces. A third piece--the transmission cover--was also available, but I choose to keep my original.

I'll be interested in your assessment of the quality of the floor pieces. There is a non-truck project on my docket that will need some new metal work.

I can't offer advice on the EMS floor pan but I would go with recommendations from people on here. I mistakenly bought the one on
Amazon Amazon
and when it arrived was disappointed, it was cheap but cheaply made as well, definitely got what I paid for and never used it in the end.

I decided against the EMS single piece floor panel partly because I was concerned that cutting away my entire floor at once might cause my cab to become distorted. The floor panels from Classic Hauler's were more expensive, but were of good quality, and I think overall, I am pleased with my choice.

I have bought a few panels for other cars from EMS and they are of very high quality. Made in the USA from true US gauge steel. There is no issue with replacing the entire floor section in one piece, let's face it, if the rusted out floor in its current state isn't allowing the cab to distort then removing it won't either. There are some retailers in IA that may have this item and you may be able to save some on the shipping. EMS is in OH so it's not too far from you.
