After 5 pages of looking, I'm asking...
What length belt have you guys used on a 92-93 truck with 351/5.8 engine, to bypass the smog pump.
My father has tried to get the smog pump turning and has given up. I'm not there to help so I told him to just bypass it.

I tried getting him to measure it but he has no help, and has a neck and back injury so he can't really do it himself.

Any info on belt length for bypassing smog pump on a 351 would be great.

start with size 6PK2310 (Serpentine Belt-Rib Ace Precision Engineered V-Ribbed Belt BANDO)

I would suggest going to a local auto parts store for this because it may take one or two sizes to get right. But start with that and make sure the tensioner has the arrow within the range indicated.

 

i just went through this on my truck. its a 1990 though, with the one tensioner on the top. it has a 90.5" belt.

On my 92 I used Gates part #K060910

 

That cross references to the bando part number above as well.

2310 = ~91" = 910

2310mm / 25.4 (mm/in) = ~91"

 

91 inch belt is a perfect fit.
