Who posted the pic of trans filter/cooler?
A week or so ago someone posted a pic on someone else's thread that showed a F100 frame (black) with a beautifully installed transmission filter cooler set up, all done with SS braid and an fittings. I thought I had saved that pic for reference purposes, but can't find it, after hours of searching. If you are the proud owner of that truck, could you please repost that pic. It's a thing of beauty and deserves to be seen again B4 it gets buried under your cab. Thank's.

That's the one I was thinking of, thank you for the guidance John, and Charlie for re posting. I was so impressed by how nicely it came out I just had to see it again for some inspiration on my current project. Ill tell you, Im getting such an education on the different abbreviations for all the type's of connections, connectors, and couplers, tubes hoses etc, etc.. I just got what I thought was the last piece of my current puzzle in todays mail, only to realize I need a 1/4" female inverted flare to 1/4 male npt , not npt to npt (I think). I don't know Im just too mentally spun right now to think about it any more tonight. LOL I just downloaded a list of definition's for the different abbreviations that Ill study tomorrow B4 I buy anything else. Don't get me wrong, as usual Im really enjoying the process, and seeing work like Charlies gives me the inspiration to move on into these uncharted waters. Heck I did get the tank to carb fuel upgrade done. So far I haven't run across a project that the great folks here on FTE couldn't walk me thru, and I really appreciate that. Im just Rocking along, and hope you all are doing the same.

I think that it is a learning process for all of us Jimmy. After spending a fortune on AN fittings, hose, and tubing I found that I had used the wrong fittings on my power steering hoses...I let you use your imagination on how I learned that the fittings were not suited for the application. Here is the fuel tank setup on this chassis. After running 3/8 SS tubing from the tank to the carb I found that the tube coming out of the tank pickup sat too high to clear the crossmember on the body. I believe if it wasn't so much a challenge that we would get bored!

Oh and yeah a missing spacer caused me to have gas all over my garage floor, only feet from the water heater. I made a pact with the wife no more credit cards, and that reminded me instantly of was it Jan & Dean's song "When daddy took the T Bird away" Oh well. It was fun while it lasted, now I have to save for each fitting LOL Thank you again for the pics, they are helpful. And just as beautiful as the last examples of your work.
