Ok so getting ready to repair my oil cooler and add a new block heater.... I have been running mobil delvac get it at wallmart and local parts store 12.00 a gallon 15 w40.... I seen today motorcraft for 15.00 a galllon 15w40.... wanted to see what you all was running.... also going to do a coolant filter and a oild by pass at the same time thanks for any advice or help

 

Rotella T6 Synthetic (I think it's T6?) 15W-40. It's in a blue jug. Not too expensive. I know a lot of people swear by the stuff you're using now though. Haven't personally tried it though

EDIT: Just checked, it's T5, and its in a silver jug. The blue T6 is 5W-40, and I used it in a friend's diesel, that's why I've got it here.

I thought the motorcraft was a 5 qt container?

 

I usually run Delo 15/40 but occasionally will run Rotella 15/40 if Wal Mart is sold out of Delo.
