Looking at a F350 with a 460 (110k miles)

Any concerns about these engines. I know they were the engine to have before the powerstrokes but are they good and do I need to worry about mileage exceeding 110k ? Tuck is said to be used as a daily driver and not a tow rig and the tranny was just rebuilt 6k miles ago.

The 460 is an excellent engine, with proper maintenance they will last a long time. Lots of power on tap without the high cost of maintaining a diesel.

The 460 is kinda thirsty though. I have an ol C6 trans behind mine and best I ever got was about 10mpg. I have heard of guys with overdrive transmissions getting 12-13mpg out on the road.

I would not be afraid of one with 110k on it. Take care of it and it will just keep working

If it was maintained, At 110,000 it's just getting broken in good.
