No, but I will contact the guy to see who he is. I don't know anyone in my county with a 56.

Rim question

Sorry, this was posted in error.

hi,
I have a 1950 Ford F4 with 17Ē widow maker dually. I think your rims are the ones I need. Iím hoping you may know if they will work. If not could you measure the rim hub hole, lug spacing as well as the width and height of the rims.

Thanks

Looking for an inner fender passenger side '48-'50

I cut a battery box into my existing panel. I can still use it or maybe undo and repair mine, but it would be easier to find a spare out there.
If you have one send me a PM.
Thank you

Hi Guys,
I have a 1950 Ford F1 late and have the original Zenith AM radio that I want to install. I have learned that at some point Ford stopped tack welding in the two supports that the radio mounts to. I am hoping someone may have a 49-early 50 dash that has the two brackets. If your not familiar with what they look like I can send a picture or you can Google, "1950 Ford F-1 dash radio brackets". They are about 10 inches long, stamped steel with four 1/4" holes to accept the radio side brackets. As I said, they were spot welded into the dash.

I have since remembered a guy that was building a 56. Last time I saw him was about 15 years ago and the cab was off the frame. I emailed the guy and it is him. We agreed to vet together. He might have other 56 stuff.

Iím a newbie to this forum scene so my apologies for any deficiencies in protocol. Iím also a newbie to the old truck scene but Iíve recently acquired something Iíve been wanting a very long time, a Ď50 F3. It began its life as a flatbed and so has no box. My plans are to restore it, to the best of my abilities (new to that too), to a driveable state as a pickup w/bed. Hence my search for a 8 foot box, fenders, and tailgateópreferably Ď48-Ď50. I know itís a tall order but Iím greatly looking forward to the challenge. Iím mechanically capable and have a drive to do this. Iím hoping someone has a lead on this second half of my holy grail. Distance is not necessarily a deal breaker. Thanks for any replies.

Looking for a compatible carb for my 55 F250. Preferably one that uses the original oil bath air cleaner, but if the price is right, I'd consider another.

OR, a lead on someone who can rebuild these things completely.

Thanks
