Not sure how many people look in this thread? Maybe have him get some pictures of the crack and start a new thread to get some interest going, I am sure someone has one they are willing to sell.

12 x 2" brake drums - set of four for an F2

Here is my 'spare' set of brake drums for an F2. They have been painted with POR-15, have been turned and trued. Also have a set of new heavy-liner shoes that have been 'arc-ed' to match the post-turn diameter of the drums. The shoes fit the front or rear.
These are 12 x 2" drums. Note the height difference between the front and rear. The taller ones are the rears.
These drums were turned at a professional machine shop and went oversize in order to get all the wear grooves out. The machinist has been doing this for 50 years and felt the new diameter is still quite safe to use for regular-duty driving and that it was common to go oversize back in the day since these drums are so rugged. Heavy towing or dramatic mountainous grades might limit the stopping power though. The new diameters are 3 drums at 12.090" and one rear is 12.125". I would use these thick-lined shoes on the rears so that pedal travel is minimized after the adjuster wheels are normally set. Again, I believe them to be quite useable just the way they are.
Reason for selling......these drums are very hard to find and some members here probably need a primary set more than I need a back-up set since I don't put many miles on my F2. But I can't give them away since I paid good money for these a few years ago and then put time and machine work into them. $300 for the drums and shoes plus shipping. Must take all - no exceptions sorry.
Next, shipping will be very high - each drum weighs 14.4 pounds and the set of shoes weighs 9 pounds. (these are rugged American steel) It will either be one large box or two smaller ones. I'll work with you on arranging shipping method of your choice.
Contact me with any additional info or questions.

WTB - 1955 F350 rear drum/hub assembly

Found out today that my rear drums are to far gone to be turned so I am looking for a couple of replacements. Trying to keep it original but may have to switch to a different rear end if I cannot find them. Please let me know if you have any laying around or any suggestion.

For sale: Rebuilt Bendix Hydro-vac. Will work on '39-'47 3/4 to 2 ton truck, '48-'52 F2 thru F6 with 1 1/4" master cylinder. Will probably work on a later truck also. I bought this from O'Reilly Auto Parts in March 2007 for my F4 but never installed it. I called the store where I bought it today and they told me that it would still be good since it had not been installed. O'Reiily part # is 51-8028. I paid $199.99, current price is $279.99+$30.00 core. I will take $160.00 shipped to the lower 48. Here are a couple of photos.

Thanks, Mark

FWIW, I've got an 8-lug Eaton HO72 rear-end under my '52 F3 that I'll be looking to sell. It is currently being media blasted along with my chassis. Whereabouts in NE are you?

I'm looking for a carburetor top cover for a Ford/Holley 94 for my F-1. Actually, I'd like 2.

One of mine is leaking at at the fuel line inlet fitting. I have 5 or 6 94 carbs laying around, but none of them are this style. I really don't want to buy a new carb. If anyone has one or two you don't mind selling me, I'd be much obliged. The below picture is the style I need

Thanks

Keith
