Would you buy an 08 Expy EL with 150k?

I'm no expert, but it wouldn't bother me. My 1999 with the 5.4 has 225k and runs perfectly fine and has had basically no issues. I felt good enough about it to buy an 09 Expedition a couple of weeks ago with 125k on it to replace my wife's Jeep.
I figured 10 years of innovation they couldn't have made it much worse.

If you haven't bought it already, I recommend you look some more. That year has the weakest transmission out of all of them.
A 06 4wd is a great truck however and probably even a bit competitive to the jeep thanks to its size and fully independent suspension (which also makes it drive like a dream). And 09+ has a better trans and goes back to being bulletproof.
If you did already buy it, be nice to the trans, slow is smart and keeping it cool goes a long way. And when it comes time to replace it, ask for a reman 6R80 so you'll never replace it again.
They are fantastic trucks otherwise.
