good morning Mainers.well i didn't see that game going that direction at all.

ok is it just me or was it not only cool to see Manning going out with a win but now if he retires the Brady/Manning rivalry will be no more either.that's been awesome to see over the years! lots of fun whenever these top, best of the best met up.now it's a passing of an era.it's kinda sad.this matchup will be hard to replace.irreplaceable really.we're all going to reflect back on these years and feel so good we got to be part of the era that got to see it! i hope Brady keeps going for all he can for us!

oh well.every good thing comes to an end.was a good game.far better than i anticipated that's for sure.
have a good day Maine! family tells me you guys are getting some normal Feb weather now lol.enjoy and stay safe driving in the snow, and stay warm.

Good afternoon Maine. I was glad broncos won, I picked them in the playoff pool. Brought me up to mid third of the pack. Not enough to make a money position though

yeah OK is much flatter than New England for sure.some hills around here but even a
"hill" is a lose term compared to what we're used to back home.

hmmm.interesting."black mesa" is about as high as Maines "mt katahdin" i'll look into hiking up!
this would need to be a camp/hike for sure.looks like fun!

Higher than anything in Vermont. But still not a mountain. That is a long hike. Pretty cool about the dinosaurs bones and tracks in the area

What they got out that way for snakes? One good thing about here is no poisonous ones. Well, unless someone let's a pet out into the wild and that isn't going to make it through a winter.

good morning Maine.i dunno.lets see here...........

Venomous snakes
Agkistrodon contortrix—copperhead
A. piscivorous—cottonmouth or water moccasin
Crotalus atrox—western diamond-back rattlesnake
C. horridus—timber rattlesnake
C. viridis—prairie rattlesnake
Sistrurus catenatus—western massasauga rattlesnake
S. miliarius—western pigmy rattlesnake

yikes lol.that's a big list.there's 7 of what wiki says is incomplete list.let's hope the venomous section is complete cus that's enough.

high 50's,mid 60's and perhaps pushing 70 from time to time it looks like, while im here.so i probably wont be running into any and if i do,odds are they will be a bit slow.....hopefully.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...es_of_Oklahoma

yeah that is a nice thing about Maine.we got the black widow spider and i think thats about it.might make ya sick.personally iv never seen one in Maine either.

speaking of spiders though,i dunno probably not poisonous but working over on islesboro many years ago.was working in a crawl space under a house and there were these massive spiders! like just about tarantula size were under there! the guy i was working with claimed only on that part of the island and that they figured they came over with delivered lumber or something.all over that part of the island.it's been so many years i can hardly remember but if memory serves it was the north end.scared the crap out of me.you should of seen me scoot from under that house lmao!
snakes.......no problem.they don't bother me a bit.if not venomous of course,i'll pick 'em right up.
spiders......oh hell no.i don't even wanna see 'em lol.
