Morning

To bad about the head gasket. Good luck with the 460.

I guess we are going to have a snow event as they say on TV. My son flew in last night from Tucson. Shorts and T shirt to Parkas and boots.

Tom, we are getting some of that negative temps at the end of the week. They are expecting -5 at night for a couple of days. My guess you will see much worst from this coming Artic blast.

Good morning everyone!

Yep, that cold blast of air just hit us last night. Warmest we're gonna be over the next five days is 18 degrees. Jealous of the snow though, we haven't gotten much at all this year.

Evening, FTE land. East of the river saw quite a bit of damage after Friday's snow storm. I spent a long 2 and a half days (43 man hours) pulling limbs off lines and re-energizing in addition to putting house services back up.

We were headed for the cape this morning but only made it to Manchester before they turned us around due to lack of customer outages.

Afternoon

Tom, I had to comment on the Prius commercial during the super bowl. I thought it was the best of the car commercials. Imagine me using those two words together in a sentence. Prius and best.

Feeling okay John? I'm a little surprised to hear you admit that.

I miss the Prius, believe it or not. Low gas prices make it much harder to justify a small car though. I've never been much of a tree hugger.

I just have to say that I still have to pick on the Prius, it's in my nature. LOL
Just a good commercial.

Good to see that our political groups are being stirred up with New Hampshire. Maybe some change is in order for OUR nation.

I hit a major pothole on the side of the road last week and noticed that I am wearing out the outside of the tire that hit the pothole. Got to get a alignment next week. My Toyo tires have 50 to 55 thousand on them other 3 tires still in fair shape. Spare still brand new. I'm guessing there are tires in my near future.

Stirred up can be a mixed bag. I like the idea of outsiders to the political circus in Washington changing the way things are done, but that can certainly go both ways. New Hampshire was interesting because an impulsive billionaire and self-avowed socialist won.

I think Trump would be kind of scary in the oval office. I disagree with just about everything on Sanders' platform, but at least he's consistent and less likely to start World War III.

Huh, that's not good. Hope you didn't bend something expensive!

Since a Moderator is talking politics....

I'd like to see Michael Bloomberg run as an Independent. I think he would be a great pragmatic alternative to Sanders' idealism, Hillary's untrustworthiness, and Trump's bluster & buffoonery.
Just my $0.02.

Morning

Stacking fire wood on the back porch for the weekend sub zero weather expected.

Camping show this weekend at the Springfield Eastern State Exposition. We go every year even though we have a new camper. You never know what you are going to find there. There are campers, campgrounds, all kinds of supplies and gadgets to look at.

I have a couple of odd things this year that I'm interested in looking for, like that color stuff you throw in the fire to change the colors of the flames.
Outdoor table and chairs, our old ones are getting beat. And as always all the different campgrounds out there.

I am sounding like a commercial, sorry bout that.

Not as big of a deal in local chapter forums as long as it doesn't get crazy.

Your username is somewhat misleading.

Must be that time of the year John. The Minneapolis RV show is going on today through Sunday. We're going tomorrow on my day off.

Welcome back Kyle. If you're surprised by the snow, just wait for the cold this weekend.
