Ok I have a guy wanting to buy the old transmission out of my 49 f1. I've tried to look up more info on it, but cant find a lot. I've learned that they started installing them from 32 up to 47 and in some trucks all the way up to 1950. It's a 4sp with thumb switch on the **** to put it in reverse. I believe it's non synchronized transmission from earlier post "poor boys 49 f1". Any other info like gear ratio would help. Here is pic of the side ID and transmission. I just cant find too many other pics that show the thumb ****. Looks like some didn't have it.
