I have a clanking noise in the passenger door and pulled the door panel. I had to fix the manual lock linkage and found what is making the noise. The weatherstripping that goes around the glass in the door pulled out of the door sheetmetal. That part I can fix. The problem is the weatherstripping has a metal channel, that part bolts to the door and pulled out, and the channel appears to have pulled out of the weatherstripping. Can this be pushed back in? The dealer wants 175.00 for this. Hopefully I explained this clearly. Thanks

 

Without a pic to see its tough but you may be able to use an adheisive or put a small slit in the rubber seal to put the self tap screw through and screw it in place but use some thread seal so you dont create a bare metal hole.
