95 300 l6 tuned for a cam

I have a 95 inline six and I plan on putting a pretty aggressive cam in it and was wondering where to go to get it tuned everywhere I called said the computer that is jn my truck is most likely not gonna work where they are at is there anyway to bypass tuning it to the cam? Or anywhere to get it done? And please do t bash me I know it's a inline six but I can't get a v8 and I'm limited to a 6

IMHO, the 6 is a great engine and has been proven in many drag racing (pro) venues!

What you desire is doable but, depending on where you live, finding a programmer who is really capable, is going to be "not Fun". IMHO, I would look at a stand-alone system (I think edelbrock sells one...Holley as well)......you might check with HP Tuners, they sell software to reprogram ECM's...they might be able to provide you with what you desire so you can tune it yourself.
