1950 f1 transmission gear box

I have a question for any of you old truck guys. I have a 50 f1 with the flat 6 and 4 speed granny geared transmission. I recently acquired a three speed gear box. Can I remove the four speed gear box from inside the cab, or does it need to come out from underneath. Thanks for your input.

It has to come out from above, likely want to use a cherry picker for that heavy 4-sp. Pull the seat, go in from the passenger side.
