I have a 1999 ford f150 5.8 4x4 and I'm haveing a problem with it came down with o2 sensor as you drive it down the road and go to lay in to it to get it going faster but it just cuts out and have to take your foot off the gas pedal and it comes back to nomarl so I unplug it and took it out and it runs great but I put a new one in it and reset the computer and it went back to doing the same thing

 

When you say it cuts out do you mean the engine shuts off or does it just stumble? You need to check codes and measure fuel pressure.

 

I guess it just stumble because it doesn't die and thank I will try the fuel pressure

 

OK.. does it have what sounds like an exhaust leak?

 

When you say took it out. Completely out?


Are you sure your catalytic converter isn't plugged?

 

Yes it's complete out and there is no cats
