Help with Indentifying year of Ftruck

Guys,

First time user of forum from Australia looking for some assistance.

I just picked up my F truck from my father who had this for about 36 years, unfortunately in the that time he painted it twice and lost compliance plates so I am unsure exactly the year of manufacturing.

If anyone could confirm the year for me then I can start buying some parts ready for roadworthy and a complete resto next year.

Thanks guys great forum I expect I will asking lots of questions through out the process of a this resto.

Ryder

what year

It looks like at least a 68, with the vin # that will clear it up for sure.

Yeah I would say 68 also. The grille looks to be a 67 the instrument cluster looks like 67 but the hood emblems are 68-69. The door locks on the doors say 68-69
So you have what appears to be a 68 f250

Welcome to FTE! Nice truck!

Would you mind posting some more pics of the dashboard? Did it have a dash pad?

My '69 originally had the plain metal instrument panel cover (now replaced with a Ranger cover) Your doors indicate 1968 or 1969. 1967 was the last year of the lift handles for the door latch.
Nice to see another nice F350 coming back to life. Do they not title vehicles in Australia? That would indicate the year, make, model, etc. Frankly I wish they weren't titled here in the US as there's thousands of old vehicles in the USA sitting helplessly waiting for a home as the paperwork has been lost. No title here means no registration possible.

Very interesting truck I like seeing the other countries F series fords. Your truck looks to be in good shape. Hopefully you can get the paperwork for it. Looks like a blast to drive.

Welcome to FTE, there should be a Vin Number stamped on top of the frame beside the alternator.

hi there and welcome to the forum, nice looking truck you have there, australia was 1 year behind on the F series trucks, the 1967 in OZ looked like the 1966 over here, so the truck you have was made from 1968 to 1973, yours looks to be an australian 1968 F350 model, but i seem to recall that in 1968 they were still using the 6 lug 1 ton type wheels in OZ, yours has the 8 lug type. 1 truck on my want list is a australian 1968 to 73 ford F100,
