Mystery coolant leak

Hi, I have a 2002 F150, 4.2L that is leaking coolant. I thought it was coming from the waterpump and had that replaced but it is still leaking. The mechanic insists he has pressure tested it and isn't finding anything yet I have a puddle of coolant under my truck every morning and my coolant level is down about a 1/4 " after each use. It looks like it is leaking from a couple bolts where the wate pump connects. But the mechanic claims he would see it leaking when he pressure tests it and he isn't seeing anything. Can anyone help me?

Having been in the automotive business, (specifically cooling system repair) I can tell you that I have seen leaks in systems without pressure in them, however pressurizing the system halts the leak. My advice would be to drain and flush the system thoroughly refill with clean PLAIN water then perform a pressure test. Also, after you've refilled the system allow it to come up to operating temperature and top the system off and pressure check it. Allow the truck to cool completely and re-pressurize it to check for leaks.

Could be as simple as a bad hose but you'll have to do what Rusty said if you want to cut your losses and find the leak.

Thanks Rusty, I'll pass this info onto the guy helping me out since I dont trust the original guy that worked on it for reasons that don't need to be posted here.
