Hello guys and gals . I have a plow truck that over heats and cuts off. And when it cuts off it won't start till next day any ideas? I know the plow has to be low this is not my first plow truck. Thank you
Sounds like a weak high pressure oil pump. You have any gauges to read live data, like a scan gauge or Torque pro? Did you have checked for codes or dash lights come on?
You can try to pull the connector off the ICP sensor and see what happens. If it starts, great, just replace the sensor. If not, you'll need a gauge.
What year truck? How hot it gets when it overheats? Does it blow coolant all over the place.... When it won't restart, just cranks and cranks?
