I have a build date of Feb 2011. The rear axle has a wrap-around label that says "Job 1". How do I know if I have the version of 6.7L PSD engine with the potential valve issue?
VIN = 1FT7W2BT4BEB53194
Thanks

With the noted exception of stainless steel one-piece valves made for racing engines - Quite literally all valves are made as two piece units that are resistance welded (stem to head) then machined as one piece. I put together quite a lengthy post about this somewhere here but will be darned if I can find it now - it included a video of how valves are welded together.
The early 2011 trucks had some valves that were apparently not heat treated and QC'd properly by Ford's vendor at the time. Not all Job-1 trucks were impacted. As far as I am aware, they have no way of telling which cylinder-heads / engines got those valves..
Maybe you'll have better luck with the search engine here than I did..

It was very educational for me, so it stuck with me when I watched the video.

I went to fire off a REP for you but I am apparently shooting blanks!

Probably because the failure rate is so low, but that doesn't help the people who's engines blow up and have a 15K repair bill.

It's not a safety issue, and it's not causing injury. It won't ever be a recall. Recalls are NHTSA ordered 99% of the time. Manufacturers don't do recalls unless they are told to. You get a warranty, if you truck fails during it, you are covered. If it's after, well that sucks. But that's how it goes.

I found a new long block Z06 engine for $13k:
Chevrolet Performance LS7 7.0L Crate Engines 19244098 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing
It's also an easier install than a Ford 6.7L.

It's also an easier install than a Ford 6.7L.
That is not a bad price from Summit for that long block, its the old Z06 (LS7), but get this, the NEW Z06 (LT4) cranking out 650hp/650 Torque is $15.6 MSRP for the long block.
I was doing a built few years ago and the LS7, was over $20 large even with my shop discount, I had to take a pass on it. I got an e mail fromm Chev Perf saying they had dropped prices BIG TIME, but I blew it off. I just went looked and my jaw dropped...Crate Engines: Classic Chevy Race Engines | Chevrolet
Looks like the BowTie boys have got SERIOUS for selling the good stuff.

Crystal, please help me to understand how Ford is dealing with this issue as a whole. I would like to understand how common the problem is. Having factual numbers helps to understand what folks with Job1 trucks should do. Everyone's risk tolerance is WAY different, and I don't want to rely on the number of failure posts to judge how wide-spread the issue is. Much appreciated if you can shed some light!
