My truck is loaded down with about 800 lbs of tools, two weatherguard tool boxes, weatherguard 110 gallon diesel tank, Ingersoll rand air compressor, and all of my grading equipment for a dozer. (Laser, dual laser masts, short and tall laser tripod, laser recivers)

I average 10- 11mpg to and from job sites, I got 12.5 from Texas to California minus all the laser equipment... Also the truck has 60k miles

Also I figured actual miles per gallon the hand written way, not using the truck avg.
A little off topic from original post, but I have a 16 crew short bed with 3.73 and consistently get 12 mpg on my 15 mile hilly commute. I would love to run 35's like you have but I am worried they might be too much for the 3.73 considering its always gear hunting with stock tires. Did the 5 star do the trick for you in that aspect?

I have 35" rubber and 3.73 with 5-star tunes. Empty it does fine. Loaded it's a bit too tall of gearing so I never use 6th. I am sure mileage is suffering but swapped tires when it was close to new so really no data to compair. I can squeeze 12mpg out of it if I take it easy but that rarely happens.

Ok that's what I was curious about. I ran 37's on my 05 with 4.10 and that was great. I'll have to get a 5 star because I've got my foot half to 3/4 down most of the time even with tow haul active and all stock equipment, only about 3-400lbs of tools. Just seems like poor throttle management with the tranny from the factory

5-star gives it much snort with much less throttle input.

Awesome! Since you already went this route, any suggestion on which tune would be worth purchasing?

All depends on what fuel you want to run. I got the 87 daily/tow and 87 economy. Use the daily/tow all the time. Didn't find much use for the economy program. Would like to try the 87 performance someday. I think you can get 87, 89, 91 and 93 octane programs. I buy the cheap stuff.

Ya I run the cheapest also. I've tried different brands/octanes doesn't matter for me. 87 it is. I'll probably just get the 87 tunes maybe a couple high octane tunes for days I feel frisky

I've had my truck for just over 15 months. Mileage was in the basement until I got over 12K miles, I'm now approaching 17K miles and I get around 14 driving mix of highway and city to work. Best on a trip pulling a trailer, 12mpg. I went from a diesel to a gasser after 25 years and I had to learn how to drive again. Diesel was just drive and let the torque take care of you, the gasser you need to find the sweet rpm spot that give the performance on hills that you want.

Thanks!!
'11 Plat F-150 SCREW 6.2 with 3.73's and I'm averaging 12.4. Daily driven, only towed once so no real input on tow MPG.

8 to 10 more like 9 towing 10,000 pounds or so...

153,000 miles on truck.
