took me long enough but today i looked on craigslist and found a place that quoted me $70 for the front windows and he let me choose the darkness of the tint which was very cool, the 5% is same price as the 20% VLT and it's all computer cut on a machine to perfect dimensions so that job turned into doing all six windows (front doors, side doors, back doors) for $200 and these guys were from Iran and very skilled tradesmen, i have seen a few tint jobs being done but these cats raised the bar and quality installation..
Once they were almost done with that i looked at the other three windows that are on the sides of the van, 2 on left and 1 on right side and he quoted me another $160 so the whole job turned into $320 but worth every penny just in the prep work and there's no state sales tax in Oregon which is also very cool, all the windows are limo black except for the front two being legal at 20% VLT, it's dark city and looks very nice..
Take a few months to build up the credit card again and take it to Maaco for a gloss black paint job and see what $1,000 will buy me..
