97 7.3 powerstroke lack of power not fuel pressure problem
Okay so my truck has no *****... No get up and go.....
Injectors are new same with the IDM and harness and plugs.
Fuel pressure is at 65-70psi. Even at WOT.
Where do i go from there?
Only code i pulled was a p0237
Map sensor but that is fairly new as well.
Where do i go from there?
Just put a new trans in it and the shop said that my motor was bogging and that caused my trans to overheat and blow.
Help please located in the burns of Chicago.
Thanks!!! Dan

2 things to check.
You can check them without tools.
Unplug map sensor. Drive truck. Note if change.
Plug map sensor back in and unplug ICP, drive truck, note if change.
ICP is located on drivers side of the motor next to the fuel bowl.
Yes, you can get a bad map sensor when buying new.
Yes, you can drive with the map or icp unplugged until you replace it.
ICP will throw a check engine light, wont hurt anything.
