Post...Trucks that need to be saved!

Afraid it's not as simple as your desire to save a truck.
A shame too, as I've seen this type of thing and had the same thought myself often.
What you'll find, usually, is these guys value their rusting junk like uranium.
It's pretty startling what even a 1980's truck that has sat outdoors unused for 10 yrs. has become.
The truck in the post probably could not be had for less than 3k, and would take 4k to get on the road. Just as a driver. Not a show truck.

Just a few miles from me there is a 68 Mustang Grande that I wanted to buy before I even got my truck(over 6 years ago now). It wasn't in too bad of shape then, but needed some work to get road ready. But the guy will not let it go, for any price. And it still sits in the exact same spot, almost completely hidden by weeds and brush now.

A fellow I know in Prince George, BC had a 67 Beaumont sitting in his back yard. I asked him about it in 1975 and he said he was going to rebuild it and get it back on the road. I was in PG two years ago and it's still sitting there. Nothing was ever done to it and now it appears to be just scrap. Such a waste.

These ones look like they're in decent shape, and for sale! I'll never understand why people rather let something rot away instead of letting someone enjoy it.

Oddly enough the tucks are at an antique shop for old trucks, cars and parts. Some are for sale and some he wants to keep!

Wow! a "58" in line first. I would love one of those. Had to laugh my *** off tho. My wife heard me gasp at the "58" and asked what I saw. I turned my lap top so she could see it, she said "DID YOU ADD ANOTHER TRUCK TO THE BACKYARD!"
