I know a lot of folks get confused trying to select a subwoofer then trying to find the perfect size enclosure, Polk takes the guesswork out of it and designed a matching enclosure to go with the sub..
I drive a full size Ford van and bought this to fit right behind my seat and bring that bass up front where it belongs, it's only 15" deep so it will fit behind the seat in trucks as well..
My current sub enclosure is 36" wide x 18" deep and takes up a good chunk of the available cargo space, i just got my whole floor back..
An amplifier that makes 500 Wrms @ 2 ohm is ideal but you can hit it with 350 Wrms and it won't complain..

yep, this is an easy way to bring bass into a vehicle without scratching your head trying to figure out what works with what. The 4 reviews i read before making the purchase had nothing but nice things to say about the SQ and the couple people who complained about the output were only hitting it 250 Wrms so every picture tells a story, it has a sensitivity rating of 88db @ 1 watt 1 meter which is right up there with most any other 12" sub in this price range including Kicker, Alpine, Orion, Audiopipe, Cadence, Power Acoustic and Rockford Fosgate so that right there tells me these people just didn't have enough power to run a subwoofer, end of story..
