The chart in this link, https://web.archive.org/web/20071015...tion.com/?p=28 , that Subford provided does go below the 50*F. That's where I got the -40*, roughly, reference for the 111K resistance I'm getting.

I am getting 4.6 Volts at both connectors with them unplugged.

Ok yea I was using the posted chart.

Myself at this point I'd just replace those two sensors, again it falls to they are cheap easy to change and more to the point they are likely original to the truck.

You either have a fairly large margin of error in your meter down that low or you have a reference voltage problem. I lean toward the meter but only way to know would be to try another meter or test yours with a known value.

Your resistance value yea puts it near -40 but your reference voltage wouldn't allow it to reach that might not even break 0deg, that is provided for example that your reading of 4.6v is accurate.

A meter checking for 5v actual should only be a small amount off if any, 4.9v or 5.1V for example.

Point is your tests really don't tell you much, wish it was more concrete for ya. Myself I'd replace the sensor with a fresh one and see how it starts/runs with no other change made then go from there.

When I had checked, at the ECT anyways, yesterday the voltage was dead on at 5 Volts. I think at this point my battery may not be 100% which could possibly cause the slightly lower voltage right?

It might be but it'd have to be pretty low, that and the reason reference voltage is 5V so a drop in power type issue wouldn't have instant effect on things.

I believe its just your meter.

I would replace the sensor with a fresh one if for no other reason to rule it out and to provide the computer with the most accurate information it can get. We are talking about a sensor that is very likely to be 22+ years old and based on your tests questionable at best.

I may just replace them, one at a time along with the TPS, at this point when I get back home. It'll be 3 weeks till I am though so I'll take that time to decompress off of this whole thing.

So to revive the thread momentarily for those that helped out. It ended up being the IAT sensor. Pulled it and it looked quite the worse for wear, I've attached a link to a pic of it. She starts right up and runs great with the new one. So thanks again to everyone that helped along the way.
