I've pretty much decided I'm done with any mods on my engine because the next gen Ecoboost holds a lot more promise and the aluminum body truck is so much lighter. I'm holding out for when that engine trickles down to the normal F150.
It will be interesting to see what Ford has done to the '17 Raptor engine.
That should give us an idea of what can be done.
To this point all Ford is saying is different block, (so I'll assume CGI), different crank, injectors and likely different or larger turbine wheels. I'm sure there's more but Ford doesn't like to let the cat out of the bag.

I did ask this question in ask an engineer and they flat refused to answer as they don't divulge future products. As far as I'm concerned, I'm out of the new truck market till the 10 speed trans is here and stable and the new 3.5L eco is available in all F-150's.
