I've had all sorts of job 1 issues, trim missing, doors incomplete, sync wiring not complete, cab heat issues, diagnostic/instrument updates, hoses, pumps, cam positioners, tb's, several ecu re flashes both gasser (eb's) and diesel. The wife's '09 flex limited was one of the first off the assembly line, the weirdness with that one was laughable. None of these issues were severe or life threatening during the winter, just an inconvenience and irritating.

Will the regeneration valve issue be fixed with a 9th injector atomizing the fuel for DPF soot burn in the exhaust stream?

Personally I don't like the idea of the smaller F150 cam being mounted on a Superduty truck

$10k for some LED lights and cameras...

Is there value there?

I'm in total agreement.

Maybe they will also fix the egr turbo surge as well?

10 k up charge for the ugly pos body from the f150 and some electronics.

Sounds like money well spent.....

Simple solution for the two of you. Don't buy one.

Unfortunately the scrap value of the box is pretty low when you have to replace it after the first year of contractor / farm use.

It barely pays for the install of a flat bed.

Lol don't worry we won't.

Pretty sad day when the most discussed virtues of a truck are the electronic gizmos in the cab.

I wasn't worried. Just a little confused as why you would bother commenting on a thread about a truck you have no interest in buying. Must be a slow day in South Dakota.

Put your seatbelt on when the HP and torque numbers are advertised along with the payload and towing capacity. Electronic features pretty much have to be discussed because that's what we officially know about.

BTW... I would hold off for a '17

Where's UGA.... Wasn't he supposed to be testing some of these trucks for a Ford marketing campaign?

Not really. I signed a non disclosure. But, I didn't really get to pick or pry much with round 1 being a hometown shoot.

How much can the 2017 Raptor tow? I know the answer is "not enough" but that is the truck I really want. To me, it is much better looking then the next gen Super Duty. Still, I'll probably be purchasing a 2017 Super Duty by the end of this year, unless pricing and availability is crazy.

I loved my 2015 Lariat 350, but I needed the diesel as my towing needs changed for this year...so I bought an XLT diesel. It's a nice truck, but some of the luxury features available in the '17 are very tempting. For me, I like the idea of the all glass sunroof and the higher-quality interior materials. Another big upgrade as far as drive-ability are the quad LED headlamps. I'm disgusted Ford never made HID headlamps available on the 2011-2016 Super Duty as they did in the 2013-2014 F-150. Personally, I'm a big fan of the aluminum as steel trucks suffer from rust up here in New England pretty badly. I do like the idea of the longer cab, but some here have stated the new cab has less headroom and is narrower.

Do you have any information on when the show will be on the air? I assume it will be right near public release/ordering for the truck, but this might give us something else to look forward to.
