15 making oil, help/info!

Yea I hopeful there gonna take a better look at it. I can see some of my short trips affecting the regen process but this seams extreme, and from what he said he was indicating that most my Regens where taking 700 to 1000 miles to complete. my meter says 11.8 mpg on 35's I need to take the gps out and see what it really is cause I know that isn't right. With bigger tires I'm going father then it says so it should be reading better right?

I'd be taking to a different dealer at this point. It doesn't sound like they know what they're talking about when it comes to anything you've had them address. So now that you have finally proved to them it's making oil, they apparently discover the truck is stuck in constant regen and tell you to complete the regens sooner? How exactly to they expect you to control that? Then they tell you changing the tire size with their computer is a liability issue? Seriously?!? I already have a dealer lined up that is more than happy to adjust the tire size, fuel tank size, and TPMS settings once I make a final decision on wheels and tires and get them installed. They said they do this all the time for customers.
I don't think the 35" tires are your problem. As you said, many guys run larger without any issues, although I would try to find a dealer to change the tire size to the 20" option for our trucks. The OEM 20" tire measures in at 34.4" in diameter, which is pretty close to a 35". The tires I'm looking at running are 34.6", which will match up almost perfectly to the 20" size in Ford's computer.
Once you get the constant regen issue fixed, I'm willing to bet your oil making issues will disappear and you'll start seeing a significant improvement in mileage. Good luck and keep us all posted!

Smaller tires do exactly the opposite - faster speedometer reading, more miles recorded, better economy than actual.
35" tires are going to make a big difference. My guess is that your fuel economy is actually in the 15mpg range and not the 11mpg range.
Maybe you've already specified, but what is the tire size that your truck came with stock?
For instance, the small 18" tire is more than 2" smaller than the largest tire available. So if you are driving a truck that already comes with the largest factory tire size, which is a hair over 34" tall, the jump to a 35" will still have an impact...but not nearly as great as if you're driving a truck with a 17" wheel and 31.6" tires.
Personally, I run a snow tire on my truck in the winter which is about an inch shorter than the factory tires. I did some calculations and it appears that with the smaller tire, my odometer is recording 1 extra mile for every 14 I actually travel. Additionally, this makes the speedometer read slightly fast and "enhances" the fuel economy readout in the instrument panel.

I've been in contact with crystal and I'm waiting to talk to her contact before I decide to take it to a different dealer although I'm really leaning towards it. There not the only dealer that won't do it, I've tried 3 different one's and they all said the same thing. It came with 275/65R18 and I'm running a 34.8x12.5R18 now. The calculator I tried said around 13. On my '11 equipped the same way It use to get 13.5 uncorrected. I'm sure they figure something out I'd like to get back to that. Besides this issue I can't complain about the truck it's been great just like the last one. Worst case scenario I'll just delete like I did with my '11 I was trying to wait till the warranty was up though

Well, no not really. I've been in contact with the regional customer manager. He talked to the dealership and now he's sayings that the oil level is normal for extend Regens and that I need to get the Regens to complete in 50-500 miles. I honestly don't know where to go with this now, they seam to be bucking the blame on me for the Regens not completing. I travel 300-400 miles a week on average and I don't understand how I'm suppose to control the Regens. I drive this one the same as my '11 and I never had this problem with it. I will say I think if I had a better dealer I'd be having better luck with the regional rep. He's to be in contact with me again, if I don't get anywhere I'll be getting back in touch with crystal. She's been a great help!
