I had a suburban running on wvo but now I have a 2002 excursion that I would like to put an external tank on. I seen a picture that veggie stroke James did but I cannot find any info on the install. Does anyone know where I can get a tank for the excursion and info on a good install for it.

Excursion Underbody - Biofuels Technologies

 

After doing several Excursion VO conversions, I'm going to start using a smaller 'aux' tank under the Excursion for diesel and use the stock tank for VO.

This is not only more economical than the poorly designed RDS tank that is commonly used - but should make for an easier/cleaner install.

I designed a ~38gal underbody VO tank for Excursions when I did my conversion back in '08. There have been several of these built and installed since then. I can dig up the drawings if you're interested.
