77, 302 need pictures / help

1977 Ford F100, 302, C4, factory AC, no Thermactor. I have had many posts on this Forum and everyone has been very helpful. I bought this truck in pieces and I am trying to bring it back to original condition. The frame is been completely restored new brakes, brake lines, etc. The cab bodywork is 100% complete it is mounted back on the frame. The engine is back on the frame all pained and ready for finishing pieces. This truck originally had a four barrel Edlebrock carburetor and Edelbrock intake. I have replaced them with the correct 2 bbl carb and intake. I am starting to put it all back together and I am stumbling a bit on how some things go together.

Please bear with me, this is a lot of information and I have done the best I can to explain.

I have scoured this site for information. I have asked many people who are selling their trucks on eBay and Craigslist who have factory correct trucks for some pictures, but they are more interested in selling the truck than to take pictures for me. I understand this. I have Haynes manual, Shop Manual, Vacuum diagram book, and Ford parts CD. I have five parts trucks that I have been scavenging parts off of. I've bought some parts off eBay and craigslist. Every part I buy research through the parts book to be sure I am buying the correct ones. I've spent countless hours trying to figure it all out on my own but it seems somethings are vague. Or at least they are for me.

I'm wondering if anyone has a truck with the same vehicle specifications that I could get some pictures from.
Specifically:
1. Air cleaner. I have three of them. Two from 77 but they are set up a little different. Neither has legible part numbers.

2. Spring holding bracket on manifold that holds the spring which pulls the accelerator pedal up when not in use. I have two styles. I could not find this in the parts book.

3. The Vacuum line from the transmission modulator, Ford Cd (section A71, illustration 11) ties into a vacuum T block 9A474 at the rear of the engine. A picture of this would help to see what it looks like exactly. The parts book says D5HZ 9A474-B, but this is a single port wheras the picture shows two ports. My vacuum tree has three ports, but this may not be the correct tree/port as this is a replacement intake?

4. Valve cover. Standing in front of the truck, facing the engine, the oil fill is on the front right side. I have the correct cap. Ford Cd (section 66, illustration 9) shows this connecting to the carb spacer port. is this correct? I have seen this going different places.

5. Valve cover. Standing in front of the truck, facing the engine, the hole on the back left. Ford Cd (section 66, illustration 9) shows this port is for the PCV valve. This line connects to the air cleaner. Is this correct? I have seen this different ways.

6. Vacuum Advance Ford Cd (section A94.1, illustration 13) (this is the closest diagram for my truck the book lists, but it is for a 74) shows it connecting in the intake manifold in the front with 12A091. I know this is a big debate on this site. My manifold shows a large single port in this place and it may not be correct as this was a replacement manifold. Is this port called a "Ported Vacuum Switch" PVS?

7. Charcoal canister according to Ford Cd (section 90, illustration 6) ties into the air cleaner. Is this correct?

My correct carburetor has two ports, one on the left side and one in the rear (standing in front of the truck, facing the engine). Where do these tie into? Again Vacuum advance?

I know that the vacuum for the power brakes comes off of vacuum tree in the rear of the engine.

My carb spacer has a port in the front and one in the rear on the EGR Valve. The front, does this go into the air cleaner? To the Vacuum tree?

I have hit a stumbling block. The more I research this, the more opinions I find. I really don't like asking for help unless I need it and I have given this a pretty good try. I can supply pictures, but I think I really need your pictures.

Thank You

I need pics of the factory alt and PS brackets for the 302. I may go another route though.

I am not using most of my facotry 302 parts. Heads, intake, valve covers, manifolds., ect. It's a 78' but if they are of use to anyone, let me know.

THIS IS A REBOOT OF MY OLD THREAD. I STILL NEED SOME HELP

1977 Ford F100, 302, C4, factory AC, no Thermactor. I have had many posts on this Forum and everyone has been very helpful. I bought this truck in pieces and I am trying to bring it back to original condition. This truck originally had a four barrel Edlebrock carburetor and Edelbrock intake. I have replaced them with the correct 2 bbl carb (I am not sure the solenoid is original to this truck though, more on that below) and intake. I am starting to put it all back together and I am stumbling a bit on how some things go together.

Please bear with me, this is a lot of information and I have done the best I can to explain.

I have scoured this site for information. I've spent countless hours trying to figure it all out on my own but it seems somethings are vague. Or at least they are for me.

I'm wondering if anyone has a truck with the same vehicle specifications that I could get some pictures from, specifically:

1. Air cleaner Vacuum hose routing. I am not sure what goes where. Also, is the blue and white check valve facing the correct way? Is it connected to the correct port? Where does the other port on top go to?

2. The Vacuum line from the transmission modulator, the power brakes, and the A/C all come from Manifold vacuum, right?

3. Valve cover. Standing in front of the truck, facing the engine, the hole on the back left. This line connects to the air cleaner. Is this correct?

4. Valve cover PCV valve. Standing in front of the truck, facing the engine, this is on the front right side. Ford Cd (section 66, illustration 9) shows this connecting to the carb spacer port. Is this correct?

5. Here is a drawing of how my lines currently run. It has been routed this way because i have looked at hundreds of pictures and am trying to make a good guess. But i have made some mistakes i know.

6. The check valve??? Not sure its called that, going to the air cleaner, which way should it face? And does it go on the top port or the bottom port of the air cleaner or the bottom?

7. Charcoal canister according to Ford Cd (section 90, illustration 6) ties into the side of the air cleaner. I believe this is correct.

8. My Carb, I researched to find the correct one. It has the solenoid that i believe turns up the AC when you are in park to keep the AC going. Is this for emissions trucks? Or did all AC trucks have it? I cant find a wire to supply power to it if it is correct for this truck.

I have hit a stumbling block. The more I research this, the more opinions I find. I really don't like asking for help unless I need it and I have given this a pretty good try. I can supply pictures, but I think I really need your pictures.

Thank you.

The solenoid is there to compensate when the AC compressor kicks in. Thats what I was told anyway. Not for Emissions.
But it is on trucks without AC.
