No power, dies once up to temp but restarts fine

hey guys so I have an 07 6.0 diesel and I'm having trouble once it gets hot. It begins to lose throttle response and shakes while cruising and also has a rough idle. sometimes it dies while idling but after cooling off for a few minutes starts back up and runs fine. I've checked the high pressure oil and the ficm and both of those are fine. I've done an EGR delete so it has nothing to do with that either. My MPG also goes way down when this happens. any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

What are the numbers when it does this?
IPR, ICP and FICM... sounds like a hpo leak or any codes to go along with this?

Cleaned the EBP and MAP sensors?

Try unplugging the ICP and driving to see what happens?

Have you scanned it for codes? It sounds like an injector going south. You can have pending codes without a check engine light.

just ran a test with my auto enginuity software. it says cylinder 3 injector contribution/balance fault. So I guess that is causing the problem

You'd be amazed at how bad one bad injector will make it run. You need to get your fuel pressure tested and make sure it is greater than 45 PSI at wide open throttle so you don't lose anymore injectors.

yeah that one injector make it run terribly. and they are 215k miles old so it might just be because they are old that it failed
